How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to deliver, maintain and enhance our services, and for the following purposes: personalizing your experience within our application, marketing and promotional communications, creating your user account, testimonials, customer feedback collection, enforcing our Terms, processing payments, support, administrative information, targeted advertising, managing customer orders, site protection, dispute resolution, managing user accounts, analyzing usage patterns to improve our product, segmenting audiences for communications, sending you information related to our products and services, developing new features based on user behavior and preferences, internal intelligence, and communications.

We do not sell your personal information. The only scenarios where we may share data with trusted third parties are: law enforcement requests, business mergers and acquisitions, service providers that help us deliver our services, with your consent, and data ownership transitions. If we want to use your information for any other purpose, we will ask for your consent first.

Third-Party Services We Use

We work with a small set of service providers that process data on our behalf, bound by confidentiality and data processing agreements:

Payments: Stripe, ThriveCart, and Whop process your payment. We never store your full card number on our servers.
Advertising and attribution: Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Conversions API, and Google Tag Manager. Where we send conversion events to Meta, identifiers such as email addresses are hashed before transmission.
Analytics and product improvement: privacy-friendly web analytics and session recording tools that capture interactions such as clicks, scrolls, and navigation patterns. We do not use these tools to record sensitive personal information such as passwords or payment details.
Communications: email and SMS providers that deliver messages you have consented to receive.
Testimonials and media: review collection and video hosting platforms for content you choose to share or view.

Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; request deletion of your personal information; correct inaccurate personal information; opt out of the "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We do not sell personal information for money. Our use of advertising tools (such as the Meta Pixel and Conversions API) may constitute "sharing" under the CPRA. You can opt out of this sharing, or exercise any other right, by emailing support@getpoppy.ai with the subject "California Privacy Request". We will verify and respond to your request as required by law.

Retention of Your Information

We will retain your personal information for 90 days to 2 years after you terminate your account, or for as long as we need it to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected as detailed in this Privacy Policy. We may need to retain certain information for longer periods for record keeping and reporting in accordance with applicable law, or for other legitimate reasons like enforcement of legal rights and fraud prevention. Residual anonymous information and aggregate information, neither of which identifies you directly or indirectly, may be stored indefinitely.

Our staff and contractors may access user data for purposes including troubleshooting, technical support, product improvement, and business analytics.

Your Rights

Depending on the law that applies (including the GDPR if you are in the European Economic Area or the UK), you may have a right to: access and rectify or erase your personal data, receive a copy of your personal data, restrict or object to the active processing of your data, ask us to share (port) your personal information to another entity, withdraw any consent you provided, and lodge a complaint with a statutory authority. Communications

We may send text or email messages about product updates, special offers, and additional services. Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. Message frequency varies based on your account activity and engagement. You can opt out at any time by replying "STOP" to any message or by contacting us at the email address provided.

We process and store records of your communication preferences to honor your choices. You may opt out of direct marketing by using the unsubscribe link in our emails, and you may opt out of marketing profiling by writing to us. Opting out of these use cases does not opt you out of essential service communications.

Note that if you do not allow us to collect or process required personal information, or you withdraw consent to process it for required purposes, you may not be able to access or use the services for which your information was sought.

Security

The security of your information is important to us and we use reasonable security measures to prevent the loss, misuse or unauthorized alteration of your information under our control. However, given the inherent risks, we cannot guarantee absolute security, and consequently we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us. You do so at your own risk.
